September 2011 - Precise AMG's precision component machining division, QPE commences its Supplier Continuous Improvement Program. ( SCIP ).
SCIP is a change program that accelerates the competitiveness of the Defence industry by raising the performance of its supply chains. SCIP is derived from the UK SC21 (Supply Chains for the 21st Century) defence and aerospace programme.
June 2011 - Precise delivers a set of five automotive underbody stampings in record time to Australian OEM client. Precise Global was commisioned to design and manufacture prototype stamping tools for automotive products in sub six weeks. Using rapid tooling techniques coupled to 3D laser trimming, our customer was able to compress time to market substantially.

May 2011 - Precise Global installs new Orbitform orbital forming machine.
Orbital riveting, also called orbital
forming, is a method of joining multiple parts together by cold forming
the end of a rivet, or form. The resulting joint will not allow rotation
of the mated parts, however, depending on the product design the joint
may be created to become "flexible" such as in scissors. Typical solid
rivet sizes range from 0.5mm to 75mm diameter. This process can be used to
flare, swage, and crown material from 0.5mm to 150mm diameter. Get Precise Global to quote on your next assembly job !
